Manufacturing solutions providers Decision Resources, Inc. (DRI) and Business Technology Associates (BTA) announced today that DRI has acquired the SyteLine related assets and employees of BTA, headquartered in Austin, TX. The deal creates the single largest company worldwide dedicated to the Infor SyteLine ERP application.

Titus stresses that customers will continue to be served primarily through their local DRI or BTA office by the professionals that they already know. “It was important to us to be able to retain the existing BTA staff that has been providing world class service to their customers for decades. By combining the skills and experience of both services groups, we are even better equipped to meet the increasingly specialized and complex needs of our global customer base.”

John Titus and Mike Gadow

John Titus, DRI’s Manager of Customer Service, was named a 2011 Infor ‘All Star’ at the recent Infor Channel Partner meeting in Orlando, FL. Mike Gadow, Infor’s Vice President of Sales, presented John with the award during the meeting, which was attended by representatives from Infor’s manufacturing and distribution partners from throughout the Americas. John received the award because of the tremendous work he has done with existing Infor customers. This is the third year in a row that John has been presented with a major Infor award. Congratulations John!

Nick started with DRI in May and comes to us from another Infor partner, The Lake Companies, out of Greenbay, WI. Nick has 15 years of experience with SyteLine; 8 with The Lake Companies as a business consultant and 7 with SyteLine users as a database administrator, master production scheduler, and buyer. Nick currently resides in York, PA from where he is involved in a number of active SyteLine projects with DRI customers.

As a child of the military, Nick grew up in many cities, but spent more of his childhood in Ohio than anywhere else, where he also attended Kent State University.

Nick has four children between the ages of 5 and 16 and enjoys being outdoors where he can frequently be found camping or sailing.

Kathy started with DRI in mid-June and currently resides in Southern New Jersey, close to Philadelphia where she grew up. Kathy came to consulting with a Bachelor degree in English from St. Joseph’s University and a Masters in English from Georgetown University. While this isn’t the typical background for a manufacturing consultant, Kathy believes that her education allows her to be a very effective trainer, technical writer, and communicator. She has been an ERP consultant since 1992 and has worked for many companies including Colonial Williamsburg, multiple pharmaceutical companies, and varied discrete manufacturers. Her most unique experience, though, was working for the San Diego Zoo where they use an ERP application to track their ‘manufacture’ of all of the food and other products used every day by the animals. One of her project meetings was attended by a full grown cheetah! Kathy hopes to be meeting many of our customers soon.

Kathy and her husband met while both performing with a local community theater group. They have one son who is currently a student at the University of Richmond.
